Your website is the cornerstone of your business

When we look at how potential customers of your business find information today, nearly everything points to the internet and the digital space.

Your website is one of the first things that a potential customer is going to see when they’re looking for a business like yours. It’s imperative that you make a good first impression, as you don’t often get second chances on the internet.

Businesses that jump into their new website project without thinking of the most important questions, are typically those who end up with websites that perform poorly or fail to meet the mark.

You have a story and a great message and it’s vital that you’re able to share this with your audience. Better planning leads to better results which ultimately means that you’ll be able to convert more of your visitors into customers.

Website planning is critical to its success, business owners Laetitia and Matt plan each website project meticulously

A clear plan helps you work effectively with website partners

The website creation process is very much a collaboration. As the client, it’s important that you’re able to share your ideas and articulate what you’d like effectively. For the agency, it’s important that they are able to listen and make suggestions that will benefit your business. Together, this partnership can deliver fantastic results, but it requires a clear plan and a good understanding.

Taking the time to have a plan in place with an easy to understand project brief, helps everyone involved on the project to move together in the same direction.

background planning is always the key to success

A successful website project is one that…

Is the result of an excellent partnership between you and your chosen design partner

Delivers a return on your investment through clearly defined SMART goals

Creates engagement with your target audience, encouraging them to contact you

Brings value to your potential customers through sharing your message and educating your customers

Showcases your business and the value that you provide through your products or services

Is delivered on time and on budget, by following a clearly defined project brief

Yes, I’d like to have an effective website plan!

The best website projects work as a collaboration. The first step here is a clear and concise project brief.

A clear project brief is a plan that can be actioned. Not only does it map out the work that needs to be completed, but it allows for a list of deliverables to be created that will meet the requirements and needs of your business.

Having worked with many business owners like you, the one thing we’ve found that is a common struggle for many people is that they’re not able to create a project brief to a level that creates a good understanding for all involved.

Beautiful small business websites - carefully planned by MyWebAdvantage to deliver results
Our proven website process creates results for small business owners

Our planning process

We’ve designed a process that is easy for you to take part in. It all starts with a Website Planning Session. This is a virtual meeting between you and our team.

The Website Planning Session is designed to go through your plan and learn more about your website requirements. We ask a lot of questions, which is important, because it helps us to understand you clearly and for us both to think about your target audience in more detail.

The most important question that you can ever ask yourself is “why”. It doesn’t sound like it right now, but in our Website Planning Session you’ll hear it a lot, because it helps you to think deeply about your requirements and how they work for your target audience. It’s good to remember that whilst a website is created for your business, it’s actually more for your customers. If they don’t resonate with the website and your message, then you won’t generate sales.

At the end of our virtual meeting, we’ll take all of the notes we’ve made on the call with you and turn this into a complete project brief document, ready for you to get your project moving.

Website Proposal

With a clear and concise brief, your chosen design partner will be able to easily prepare a proposal for you that takes into account all of your requirements and the goals of your project. In fact, we actually discount the Website Planning Session fee from our proposal, when you choose to continue working with us on your website.

A good project brief will help you to bring the vision for your new website to life. It will also hold your design partners accountable to elements that have been agreed in the proposal.

Our Website Planning Session is priced at $299.

As mentioned above, this fee is deducted from the proposal that we create for you, when you choose to continue working with us on your website project.

What’s included in our Website Planning Session?

Our Website Planning Session is based on a virtual meeting where we will discuss your plans for your new website and dig deeper into your requirements.

We’ll work with you to fully understand everything that you need and explain how this can come together from a technical perspective. After the meeting, we’ll provide you with a project brief that you can use with ourselves or any other agency.

The first step to our planning process is to listen to you & your business requirements. MyWebAdvantage is a web design agency based on the Central Coast
The MyWebAdvantage planning stage is critical
Website planning session

We will have a virtual meeting with you to discuss your new website project. We’ll listen to your requirements and we’ll ask you questions to drill down into the specifics. This process helps all parties involved to gain full clarity in the scope of work required and it also gets you thinking in detail about your target audience and their needs.

You'll get a project brief - or scope of work - that will define your website project
Complete project brief

After the Website Planning Session, we’ll use the notes that we’ve created to put together a complete project brief for your website project. This is a document that will detail your requirements, goals and all accompanying data. You can use this brief to move forwards with the project with any design partner you choose.

Don't pay for things twice! We deduct this fee from our Website design & development quotes
Deduction on future work

When you choose our company to be your design partner, we will deduct the cost of our Website Planning Session from our proposal to you. We do this because the Website Planning Session is an important part of the project and it’s the first step towards having a great new website for your business.
