What Is a CRM Dashboard and Why Should You Care?

If you’ve ever wondered how CRMs work, or why everyone seems to be talking about them?

I’m glad you asked, and you’re in the right place!

A Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) is one of the most powerful tools a service-based business can have, but it can also feel confusing if you’re just getting started.

In this guide, we break it down for you.

We’ll walk through what a CRM dashboard actually looks like using Growth360 – our preferred CRM for small businesses – as a real-world example.

You’ll see how it helps you manage clients, automate tasks, track sales, and grow your business with less chaos.

Whether you’re researching CRMs for the first time or trying to make better use of one you already have, this article is your plain-English walkthrough of how it all works.

Growth360 is our go-to CRM for small business clients. It’s built to simplify your client communications, automate repetitive tasks, and keep everything in one place – so you can spend less time chasing admin and more time growing your business.

This guide will walk you through the Growth360 dashboard and show you where everything lives.

Whether you’re brand new to CRMs or just new to Growth360, this overview will help you get the most out of your setup.

Navigation Sidebar

The left-hand menu is your control centre. It gives you quick access to every section of Growth360, from contacts and calendar to automation and reports.

Search Bar + Quick Actions

Directly under the account switcher, you’ll find the global search bar – great for finding a contact fast.

Type in a name to jump straight to their record, check payment info, or add a new opportunity.

Next to it is the green lightning bolt icon: Quick Actions.

Click it to do things like add a contact, schedule a meeting, or send a review request without leaving the page you’re on.
